Lynette Lodge is a completely private self contained 1 bedroom unit with laundry facilities and private street access. It's a dedicated rental property on a quiet low rise residential street. The lodge has a leafy outlook and is filled with natural light. It has a new modern kitchen & bathroom but also lots of character with ornate ceilings, stained glass windows, original floorboards and unique antique pieces providing plenty of storage. You may even wake up to lorikeets feeding outside. New listing (April 2021) so no reviews as yet. Location; A 10 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) to bustling Lane Cove Village which is brimming with food, drink, supermarket and leisure options. We have been part of the Lane Cove community for decades and will have lots of suggestions for you (if you would like). A 5 minute (flat) walk to York's Corner shops which features a deli/coffee shop, park, spa & hairdresser. A 5 minute (flat) walk to a bus stop that connects you to the 254 & 253 bus routes. This stop will connect you to the city via Lane Cove shops/Lane Cove interchange. Some routes from Lane Cove are city direct via the freeway (usually 15 mins door to door). Others routes to the city are via Pacific Highway (these pass by via Greenwich, Artarmon, St Leonards, Royal North Shore Hospital, Crows Nest and Nth Sydney). Other buses from Lane Cove interchange will connect you to Chatswood and Epping/Ryde/Macquarie Centre. A 5 minute walk to Tambourine Bay Bushwalk which is a beautiful rain forest bush walk taking you past waterfalls before you reach the harbor foreshore. Also close to many other beautiful walks. A 10 minute drive or 15 minute bus ride to North Shore Hospital. A good location for hospital stays. Kitchen; Is newly installed & modern with new dishwasher & stove. We provide plates, cutlery, cups, coffee and tea, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, pantry essentials and pots/pans. Bathroom; Is newly installed & modern - includes a shower over bath. It is an en-suite off the main bedroom. We provide soap, toilet paper & towels. Bedroom; One Bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite. A double futon sofa is in the living room that can be made up for additional guests if needed. There is a door that closes between the living room and the bedroom. We provide fresh sheets and bedding. We also have some spare blankets. There is ample clothes storage and hangers. To note (esp. for small children or less mobile guests) the bedroom is raised by a small level (1 meter approx.). There is a flight of wooden stairs connecting but no railing. You can see in the pictures. Cooling/heating and safety: Brand new celling fans in bedroom and living rooms. We also have a gas heater in the living room & fire alarms throughout Laundry: We have a new washer/dryer combo machine. We provide laundry powder and iron/ironing board. Office: The dining table could be used as an office table as well Parking: Street parking available Wi-Fi: We provide good and fast free Wi-Fi We are located at the back of the house so here for key drop off, if you have any questions or would like some well documented local suggestions. However, you have a completely private self contained apartment with private street entrance. Please note - we don’t provide cleaning during your stay (unless you request/need this) If you are getting public transport, you can access Lane Cove from buses behind Wynyard in the city or from St Leonard’s station. We are a 10 min walk from Lane Cove shops.
