Stoney Creek at its best. Wonderful luxury updated 2 BR townhome overlooking the pool. Huge living room and dining area where you can walk right out to the pool. Very large deck to relax and enjoy. Oversize master suite with full bath is on the second floor updated shower and vanity. Guest room has two twin beds with update guest bathroom also. Living area has fold out couch with half bath downstairs. Updated kitchen fully stocked for the chef in the family with washer and dryer next to the kitchen. Walk to Harbourtown restaurants and shops or bike to the beach in Sea Pines. Shuttle runs all day from the Harbourtown to take you directly to the Sea Pines Beach Club. Two car passes and free wifi included.
Sea Pines Resort offers three championship golf courses, many world class tennis courts, miles of bike paths, restaurants, shops and the Sea Pines Beach Club. Summary: This property is marketed as “luxury” and “updated”. There is absolutely nothing luxury about this bare bones villa. The only thing that looks remotely updated are the kitchen countertops. Main bathroom tile is dated and DIY. 2nd bathroom tub is from the 80s. The primary bed was awful. We could not sleep and likened it to sleeping on the asphalt pavement outside. On the second night my husband realized that the mattress was UPSIDE DOWN and we flipped it in the middle of the night. The AC does not adequately cool the upstairs without the downstairs being set on 66. There were maybe 3 pieces of wall art/decor in the whole place. No ceiling fans, very dark rooms with inadequate lighting. Affordable and good location are the positive takeaways. We left our vacation early.
