Summary: This is a newly built house and thus in excellent shape. It has three stories with a bedroom (two double beds) and bathroom in the basement. Top floor has three bedrooms with double beds (one with en suite bathroom) and another bathroom. Middle floor consists of kitchen and living room plus a toilet, the jacuzzi on the back, and terrace with pool facing the sea. The view is spectacular since the house is approx 100 meters above sea level, a 10 minut walk down to the beach. This is a quiet area with mixed older and new houses and some empty lots. Nerja is a 10 minute car ride away, and you have Lidl/Aldi 5 min away. Torrox Costa, the nearest "town" is a classic spanish beach resort built in the 70s and 80s, not very up scale. The beach below the house has a few very nice bars and restaurants. The house is modern with modern furniture but lacks carpets and other textiles so the combined kitchen/living room is a bit noisy. Other experiences: Upon arrival the coffee machine was not working but the owner Xavier fixed this quickly! As for the pool heating is not included so we paid 100 EUR extra for the heating (this was January) and were promised to have the pool at 29 degrees. The heater only managed to reach 27 degrees which the owner did not see as a problem despite promising 29, which surprised me. So have limited expectations for the pool temperature.
