Nosara is a wonderful and welcoming community, but as in any tourist area, petty theft can occur. Most incidents involve cash and valuables left unattended. Internet & Electricity:

We strive to maintain a clean and comfortable home, but being in the jungle means occasional encounters with insects. Despite regular fumigation, ants, beetles, spiders, and other insects may appear, especially during the rainy season (May–November). To minimize their presence, keep food sealed, store it in the refrigerator, and ensure screen doors remain closed—especially at night.
Refund Policy:
No refunds will be issued for natural disasters, water or internet outages, security concerns, loss of personal property, or nearby construction noise. As this is a rapidly developing community, we cannot guarantee a construction-free environment.
