Summary: So close to Garden of the Gods! We had ages all the way from 8 months to 88 years, and the house was comfortable for all of us. Big hikers could go off and hike, while the more mobility-limited of us could drive to GOG and spend the day there on the paved trails. The house is very nice, clean and very well stocked with anything we might need. Since we had a mobile infant I was relieved to see the stairs were carpeted and had two landings. There isn't a baby gate there that I saw, so bring them if you need one. I liked the automatic shades so much I think I'm going to buy them for my house. The house was very clean, very nice, and I didn't detect any pet odor at all even though it's pet friendly. (And I can usually smell things even when other people can't.) There's a great sitting area in the back yard. One thing to be aware of is the back yard seems like it's completely fenced in, but it isn't. It has an ungated opening on one end/ We ended up putting up kind of little physical barrier with a tarp and a chair. That worked out well for us. (We were afraid the dogs might dart out when people were going in and out to the patio area.) We didn't hear any neighbor noise or anything. Felt safe to walk around the neighborhood. Owner very responsive with any questions.
