There are also four first class pubs in the town, a Michelin-featured restaurant and even two brewery's namely Theakson and Black Sheep. The town has a number of galleries featuring local artists. The cottage is also near to the river which has a lovely footpath that is perfect for a stroll with your canine friend, in fact there are a number of walks starting from the town.
