Cedar Crest Lodge is a luxury large rental cabin located in the Ponca Wilderness Area, ¼ mile from the Buffalo National River. You can get away from it all or stay connected with complimentary WiFi. It is not a traditional lodge – you rent the entire place, not just a room! The lodge sleeps up to 20. Cedar Crest Lodge is over 5,000 square feet in an open floor plan: main floor sunken living room with wood-burning fireplace, open kitchen, dining/meeting room with custom table seating 14, four master suites with a queen bed, and a separate sitting room with single sofa sleeper. Two upper suites have a unique ladder leading up to a large sleeping loft with two full-size beds. The back deck is over 800 square feet, with a bridge crossing over Adds Creek to a double fireplace pavilion. The gourmet kitchen features a six-burner gas stove top, two commercial-size refrigerators, beverage cooler, separate ice maker, two freezer drawers, double convection ovens, warming drawer, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is supplied with a coffeemaker, toaster, dishware, pots and pans, serving pieces and cleaning supplies. A curved granite eating bar surrounds the kitchen with seating for 8. The dining room has a custom-made table which seats 14 and features a native stone fireplace. A 42” TV with satellite channels plus BluRay DVD player is located behind cabinetry for main floor viewing. Another is upstairs in the common area. The second floor entertainment area is open to the living and dining room below. Multiple furniture groupings allow for a variety of activities; conversation, board games, TV viewing/gaming or small group interactions, 42” flat screen TV with satellite and local channels, a BluRay DVD player, XBox gaming system, two large leather sofas and a variety of board games, movies and XBox games ensures everyone’s preferences can be met. Two other furniture groupings give additional space for all activities. Laundry room is just off the kitchen with a high-efficiency washer and dryer for your use. Cleaning supplies, brooms, mops and cleaning towels are provided. An outside door opens to the side driveway provides easy access for carrying in groceries or for guests needing fewer entry stairs. Located near the laundry room is a main floor powder room. Outside a multiple level back deck connects to the bridge over Adds Creek and leads to the hillside stone pavilion with two outdoor fireplaces. A large propane grill is on the main deck making dining alfresco easy! Enjoy listening to the bubbling creek and watching the bats after a long day of canoeing or hiking! Adds Creek, which is a tributary to the Buffalo River passes under the deck bridge and stone stairs provide private access to the creek side patio.
