This is a lovely newly refurbished first floor apartment with spacious lounge, luxury kitchen, bedroom with king sized bed, shower room and vestibule. Gas central heating and double glazed throughout.
Private fully enclosed garden with lawn, trees, seating area and barbeque with lovely views of the surrounding rural landscape looking across farmland towards Mormond Hill. While here you can slow down and relax in the peace and quiet.
Directly from the property there are plenty of opportunities for walks on farm trails. There is also the Buchan and Formartine way, running from Fraserburgh to Aberdeen, right on our doorstep, ideal for the more long-distance enthusiastic walker and cyclist.
The apartment is easily accessible on tarred roads in a central location: with Strichen (3mls), Mintlaw (5mls), Fraserburgh (8mls) and Peterhead (15mls) Banff (20mls). All towns and villages with a good variety of lovely cafes, restaurants and shops.

The area is a golfer’s paradise; within 20 miles of the apartment we have eight excellent golf courses. Cruden Bay, Peterhead and Fraserburgh are ranked in the top 100 golf courses in Great Britain. Fraserburgh is also the 7th oldest Golf Club in the world with 9- and 18-hole golf courses, and with a driving range, golf shop and café next door.
We are also blessed with beautiful sandy and almost deserted award-winning beaches all around the coast. Fraserburgh is spectacular example, stretching for miles with beautiful sand dunes and is perfect for bathing, water sports, surfing and paddle boarding.
Peterhead and Fraserburgh harbours are the base for one of the largest fishing fleets in Europe. Peterhead fish market is the largest fish market in Europe. We also have many quaint harbours at Pennan, Crovie, Gardenstoun and Portsoy which are well worth a visit.

• Aden Country Park which is a 230-acre country park in the heart of Buchan offering a warm welcome, with beautiful surroundings, and a wide range of opportunities for relaxation and recreation for individuals, families, and groups to enjoy.
Aden, often referred to as “the jewel in the Buchan crown” has been recognised, year on year, as one of the country’s best green spaces with the prestigious Green Flag Award.
Situated in the heart of the park lies a semi-circular farmstead housing the award-winning Aberdeenshire Farming Museum. Other facilities include a café/restaurant, gift shop, children’s play area, picnic and BBQ sites. The park also regularly plays host to a variety of different events such as the annual pipe band competition, orienteering courses, and occasional vintage car/bike rallies.
• Peterhead Prison Museum - Step back in time as you walk through 125 years of turbulent history inside "Scotland’s Toughest Jail". This former Victorian HM Convict Prison, Peterhead is unique in that it had the first state owned railway in the UK. Part of the history saw the only time the SAS (Special Air Service) were used to end a domestic siege in mainland Britain. The museum highlights the work of the brave personnel that served between 1888- 2013, you will visually see what "real" prison life was like, whilst listening to the officers speak of their experiences, and during your audio tour you will walk the halls and corridors and your sense of smell will be stimulated as you enter the laundry, shower block and hospital areas'.
• Museum of Scottish lighthouses Fraserburgh .a superb museum that is an essential stopping-off point for anyone who has ever been charmed or intrigued by the large number of lighthouses that punctuate Scotland's extremely complex and often dangerous coasts and coastal waters.

• May – The Buchan Heritage Festival at Strichen. This is one of the finest places to appreciate our rich tradition of music, song, verse, drama and story, and, at the same time, enjoy listening to, or using, the broad ‘Doric’ language which is still very much alive here in the North East. Enjoy a friendly family atmosphere where contestants have come from a’ the airt’s and pairt’s o’ Scotland and sometimes beyond.
• June – The Scottish Traditional Boat Festival. With up to 16,000 people descending upon Portsoy over the festival weekend it is packed with brilliant moments which engages the local region, bringing together boats, music, crafts, food and drink, to celebrate the region’s rich cultural heritage.
• June – Fraserburgh Vintage Car Rally. This event is for fans of all things on four and two wheels. It sees hundreds of vintage cars, motorcycles and tractors descend on the town, it is a great chance to appreciate the beautifully maintained vintage vehicles or chat to the passionate owners.
• July: August - New Deer and Turriff Agricultural Shows. These are two-day show highlighting top quality livestock from across Scotland and beyond.
