Villa Soleil is a magnificent luxury 2-storey villa with 2 separate self-contained 1-Bedroom ground floor apartments in its grounds, and all share a lovely pool and private parking. Built 10 years ago, within 3-minutes’ drive of Holetown, on the West Coast, with its restaurants and shopping. The nearest beach is about a 10-minute walk (3-minute drive). The space Villa Soleil was built just 10 years ago to a very high standard and includes two lovely self-contained ground floor apartments in a single storey building, both of which sleep 2 people, and a separate villa which has 3 bedrooms and can sleep 6 people. All share an inviting pool. The 2 apartments form a separate building from the main house. Apartment 2 is tucked behind Apartment 1. Both are self-contained and are very comfortable and each have their own sitting/dining area and adjoining kitchen, as well as a generous-sized bedroom, with en-suite bathrooms. Both apartments have excellent amenities, including air conditioning in the bedrooms, and ceiling fans throughout, full wi-fi, a television, etc, and share the main pool, which is ideal for swimming in or whiling away the time on its patio and lying on the beach loungers/sunbathing. Everything you will need in terms of linen, bath towels and beach towels is provided, and our twice weekly housekeeping will include towels and bedding laundry. The beach is about a 10-minute walk (3-minute drive) as are restaurants and shopping at Holetown. Villa Soleil is situated just below the world-famous Royal Westmoreland Golf Resort and Sugar Hill Resort (David Lloyd development with Cliff Richard). Location: The property is situated an approximate 3-minute drive (10 minutes’ walk) from Heron Bay at Holetown, a beautiful bay in which to swim and relax – adjacent to the Colony Club Hotel. Holetown is a thriving town, on the west coast, about 45 minutes’ drive from Grantley Adams Airport and about 30 minutes from Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados. It has a large supermarket, duty free shopping at Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, speciality stores and suchlike and, of course, restaurants and bars. There are several other prestigious hotels along this golden West Coast such as Sandy Lane, Treasure Beach, Tamarind Cove, Discovery Bay, Sand Piper and Coral Reef Club, and in general they offer nightly entertainment and welcome visitors for either drinks or a restaurant meal. The West Coast waters – referred to in Barbados as the “Platinum Coast” - are clean, clear and warm – perfect for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, water skiing and sailing and the beaches, themselves, are golden and sandy. In addition to Heron Bay there are numerous other beautiful, linked, beaches, all typical in quality of the beaches to be found in Barbados. Villa Soleil sits just below the famous Westmoreland Golf Resort. It’s in a great location. Within 30 Minutes’ Drive of Villa Soleil Absolutely numerous beaches – too many to mention! Holetown (3 minutes by car, approximately) – a series of excellent, linked beaches, beach bars, numerous good/excellent restaurants, various top-quality hotels, the Sugar Hill Complex, night time entertainment. Modern shopping complex at Limegrove. And a new Massys supermarket and Duty-Free Shopping at Cave Shepherd Store, various jewellery outlets, some banks and a Medical Centre, plus numerous, smaller, boutique and general shops. Fishing village and Fishpot restaurant at Little Good Harbour, just north of Spice Town – fabulous setting on the sea and not to be missed. The famous Apes Hill Polo Club - within 10 minutes’ drive – even frequented by British Royalty! There are also many inland places of interest – come and explore them! Including North Point, where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean Sea, where you could easily see rainbows in the sea spray! Bridgetown The capital of Barbados – about a 30 minutes’ drive south and includes: Huge array of shopping, including Duty Frees shops, entertainment, Kensington Oval for cricket lovers, the famous Garrison Savannah for horse racing at its best, the Mount Gay Rum Distillery & Museum, and so much more. East and South Coasts Barbados is quite a small island, only about 21 miles by 14 miles, and even getting across to the East Coast will only take about an hour and there’s lots to see and do, there. The South Coast is also worth a visit – be sure to go to Oistins Fish Market on a Friday night, accessible in just 45-60 minutes.
