Summary: We booked this property for the Diez Vista 50km Trail Race, as it is 5 mins from Sasamat Lake. The property was clean and spacious, with lots of area to organize our supplies. The in floor heating was really welcome, as the weather this past weekend was very wet and cold. It seems this is a new venture for the hosts as there were several issues with the suite missing basic accessories. The hosts were responsive, but it was an inconvenience. The primary concern is that the VRBO portion (downstairs) of the home is NOT separated from the upstairs by a wall or door. It is an open air stairway, and sounds etc, do carry down and up the stairway. This was not noted in the original listing, but the host immediately notified us of this and gave the option to cancel. For our needs on this trip, this was not a factor, but this is NOT the place for a romantic quiet getaway. The second major issue is that the pictures show what looks like a fully appointed kitchen, however there was no toaster, coffee maker or most of the normal kitchen/dining supplies. The host did provide more glassware beyond the solitary wine glasses and mugs when we asked. If you plan to cook meals while at this location, plan to contact the host to determine what is available in the suite. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable, but there were no hangars in the closets. The TV was not in the original pictures on the booking, but was installed by the time we arrived. The remote was very fussy.
