Summary: Great Resort, but Disappointed with Laundry & Extra Charges Las Palomas Resort is a beautiful place with well-maintained pools and a great atmosphere. The overall experience was enjoyable, but there were a couple of issues that left a bad impression. First, the dryer in our unit did not work properly. I had to run it multiple times just to get our clothes almost dry, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Second, we were charged nearly $90 for a bedsheet that my daughter accidentally stained with period blood. While I understand that stains happen, this felt excessive. Blood can usually be washed out, and even if it wasn’t salvageable, these were not high-end sheets that justified such a steep charge. Also, keep in mind that housekeeping is minimal—it’s basically just someone making your bed, and tipping is expected. Overall, it’s a nice resort, but these issues were disappointing, especially given the price point.
