Welcome to The Tiny Piney cabin!
Purchased in 2017, and remodeled in 2018 (down to the studs!), the Tiny Piney is ready for your getaway to the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The cabin is perfect for year round use, in warm and cold weather alike!
The property has brand new bathrooms, flooring, kitchen, living areas and more. The bedrooms upstairs both have a queen bed to sleep 2 per bedroom. There is a full bathroom upstairs with a standing shower stall. The downstairs bathroom includes a bathtub as well. The leather Scandinavian Design sofa-bed downstairs includes a brand new memory full-size foam mattress that can sleep two children or one adult comfortably. We have also included a blow up twin-sized air mattress in the master bedroom closet.

Tahoe Vista is just west of the Kings Beach area. Guests will be able to walk to both the lake, a Safeway supermarket, and many restaurants located on North Lake Boulevard. Northstar Resort is 10 minutes away via Hwy 267. Both downtown Truckee and Tahoe City are 15 minutes away from the cabin.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at the Tiny Piney cabin! The accommodations and features of the home are exactly as advertised if not nicer, and we had the perfect amount of space needed for our family of 5 (kids are ages 6, 8 and 10). There is a convenient mud room right when you walk in with plenty of storage and a washer/dryer. The kitchen, though tiny!, had everything we needed. The beds/sheets were extremely comfortable with extra bedding/towels provided. Our kids enjoyed the board games, fireplace and spiral staircase. The cabin is basically brand new and felt luxurious for sure! There is a beautiful view out the back of the house overlooking the golf course. We made the daily 12 minute drive to North Star for skiing which was a breeze, and then once “home” could easily walk to Safeway and King’s Beach for food/fun. The owner Sia was in communication throughout our stay. We’d highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon! The kids said it was an 11 out of 10 stay! :)
