Summary: This was a weekend getaway with myself and 3 of my girlfriends. I will start off with the positives. This place is cute. It’s large, clean and the location is fabulous. It is 4 bedrooms but you have to go thru one room to get to the other. That wasn’t an issue for us. The negatives. The host does a horrendous job of communicating. It took days for me to get a response on what kind of coffee maker was in the unit. At check in I let her know when we were 30 minutes away because she wanted to meet us at the property. We arrived and she did not respond to my texts or phone calls that we had arrived. My friends and I stood on the sidewalk for 15 minutes before someone from the funeral home came out to help. The 2nd night we came home at 10pm and the door keypad was dead. No big deal, right? It wouldn’t have been if the host would have answered my repeated phone calls and texts. Thankfully the permanent tenants arrived home and were able to somehow get into the funeral home and access a door to get into the apartments. What made this entire situation even worse was the texts from the host an hour later that did not include an apology. She then called me and instead of being apologetic she was downright nasty. Said she “is allowed to sleep”. You’re right. You are absolutely allowed to sleep. But when you are a hosting someone in your property you need to be available in case of an emergency. Side note on the property, there are no mirrors besides the bathrooms.
