Located in a colorful neighborhood in Wild Dunes, 68 Pelican Bay is surrounded by a number of lagoons and it is located just across Palmetto Drive from the beach. The Pelican Bay community features homes that are distinctly bright, reminding guest of Rainbow Row in the Historic District of Charleston.
68 Pelican Bay features a number of upgrades including:

This home is a cozy three bedroom 2 1/2 bath home that features a bright and open living and dining area with ample windows and vaulted ceiling. A screened porch allows for enjoyable morning gatherings or is perfect for a meal. The kitchen is highlighted by stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom with ensuite is beautifully appointed and has its own private deck overlooking the lake. The master bedroom features a king bed on the lower level. The upper level features two guest bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other a full bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. A full bath is upstairs and is shared with the two guest bedrooms.
The community where this home is located offers a private swimming pool. Summary: We rented this unit for the space and the proximity to the beach. Both points did not disappoint. We r a family of 6 and the extra bathrooms and beds definitely helped. But if you are looking for a plush and five star accommodations, this was a little short on that. Doors were dirty and looking worn. Beds were a bit uncomfy. Some of the bedsheets were a bit outdated. We had holes in ours. Bathrooms were only so so. Shower curtains were a bit cheap looking. Patios had a nice setting but could have a used a good power washing. Kitchen had a hodge podge cookware and utensils in it. And if you are a big pool user, there is a bit of a walk to get there. So if you have small children, take that into consideration when choosing this unit. It wasnt all bad. We enjoyed our stay. Like I said, we are a big family so we get places that can provide us the space and has amenities such as washer dryer and kitchen. So it served us just fine. But if you are looking for fanciness and poshness and comfy furniture. This isnt the place for you.
