Positive: The alternative rooms we were given were fantastic. With parking available, ability to refill water bottles with micro-filtered water, an elevator if needed, well working air con, flexible/understanding managers & fantastic location, all made this a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Negative: No complaints/dislikes regarding the property at Borgo Colonna. However, the first appartment we were given had a foul odor coming from the sewage system, a non-working air con, an un-made sofa bed which one of us would have needed to sleep for our stay, and was full of mosquitoes. In addition, the ad did not clearly indicate that the properties were separate; would suggest more clearly describing the facilities and rooms, plus where they are located, in future ads. Fortunately, given that the air con was not working, the managers offered us rooms at Borgo Colonna, which was much appreciated. Had this initial mishap not happened, we would have likely rated the stay a 9 instead of the 7 we gave.
