Sleeping Accommodations: Lucky Dog Retreat has three bedrooms, but one additional private sleeping area. Main Level: Master King Upper Level: Full Room, Queen Room Lower Level: Master King Anyone staying at Lucky Dog Retreat surely is a “lucky dog” indeed! Nestled atop Seven Devils, enjoy sumptuous year round views of rugged Grandfather Mountain from all three levels of this beautiful cabin. The main level features an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining room, and living area. The dining table has room for 6, with five chair-style stools at the island in the kitchen. The well stocked kitchen is equipped with everything you'd need to prepare a tasty meal. It features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a TV mounted over the fridge, a dishwasher, and a large pantry. The living area has a two story ceiling, a wall of windows overlooking the stunning vistas, Oriental rug, and a comfortable round sectional leather sofa with a couple of other leather chairs arranged around the two story stacked stone gas log fireplace. There is also a half bath near the entry way. Off the living room is the master suite with a King bed, walk-in closet, 37” flatscreen TV, and a private bathroom featuring double granite vanities and a spacious slate tiled shower. The Master bedroom has beautiful mountain views and access to the large deck through French doors. Upstairs there is a large, open 26-foot long loft with a pool table and card table, ideal for the gamers in your group. Additionally, there are two private rooms and a full bath with a stone tiled shower on this level. One room has a Full bed, and the other has a Queen bed with its own private deck. Descend into the lowest level of the house. To your right is a large welcoming “cave” of electronic wonderland. The entire family will enjoy watching your favorite movies with the Blu-Ray disc player as well as a 6-disc DVD changer, a huge TV, and lots of comfortable suede seating. To the left of the stairs is another master King suite through double doors, with a walk-in closet and a bathroom wth a stone shower and double granite vanities. Out on the lower level deck, take a dip in the hot tub with gorgeous year-round views of Grandfather Mountain. There is also a gas grill on the main level deck and a picnic table to enjoy your culinary creations al fresco style, and a group of rocking chairs around the outside fireplace. Conveniently located between Boone and Blowing Rock in the lovely Seven Devils community, enjoy the comforts of home combined with convenience to twn. Located just 3 miles from the Hawksnest tubing area, 15 minutes from Boone or Banner Elk, 25 minutes to Blowing Rock, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, and is close to every High Country attraction. You're sure to want to return to Lucky Dog Retreat again and again! PLEASE NOTE: This home is accessed by a steep gravel driveway. It is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required year-round, and chains may also be necessary to access the property in winter months.
