Look No Further! Magnificent Maison a Perfect Summer Retreat | House in Fenouillet-du-Razès

4 Bedroom House in Fenouillet-du-Razes, Fenouillet-du-Razès
Our French home offers the opportunity to have a 'get away from it all holiday'. You could spend your whole holiday chilling in the gardens or by the heated 'salt water' pool, reading a book, sampling the local foods, cheeses and drinking the summer wines whilst watching the sun go down.
From the house you can walk into Fanjeaux along the Compostella di Santiago. It takes approximately 35 mins, once there you can enjoy a drink in the tabac, buy fresh bread or have lunch in the restaurant. Every Saturday morning a mini market is held here.
The house sits in its own setting of 25acres. You will not be disturbed by neighbours (we have one approximately 200m away, you cannot see their house - only the rear of a barn and they do not overlook our house or land).
The house is light and airy, not the typical French home and was fully modernised by the architect owners in 2016 with bespoke kitchen, staircase and furniture.
Both the Interior and exterior areas are designed to give guests their own personal spaces. Read a book in the library, chill in the lounge, from which you can see the Pyrenees (on a clear day) or create a culinary delight in the very large kitchen which opens onto both the rear garden and the front of the house, overlooking the pool. Or you could sit in the outside lounge, on the balcony or on the terrace of the bar, there are endless choices. Alternately if you wish to congregate together you can dine under the fixed pergolas in the rear garden or by the poolside, where there is a log burning BBQ. The outside space has been designed to enjoy the changing sun and shade throughout the day.
Whilst you could spend your holiday at the house, its location in the Languedoc wine region also provides the opportunity to explore the nearby tourist attractions.
