• VIP: Please be aware that you must complete the waiver of liability for Lake Lure as well as an additional Water Waiver to stay at this property. If these forms are not completed within 24 hours of the Vacation Rental Addendum being signed, your reservation shall be canceled, thank you.
• Long Family Hideaway resides in a community that enforces a strict street parking policy. Please be advised only two standard-sized vehicles are allowed at Long Family Hideaway at any time due to the City of Lake Lure policies. Additional vehicles may be towed. Once you arrive, please be prepared to descend a series of 25 steps from the parking area to the main entrance of the home. Easy-to-carry luggage is strongly suggested.
• This property is pet friendly, allowing one dog per reservation.
• The kitchen at Long Family Hideaway is fully equipped, however, it should be noted that the home does not have a dishwasher. Additionally, Seasonal Gas Fireplaces are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
• 4WD/AWD Recommended in Winter
During the winter months and inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is recommended to access this property.
• Travel Insurance Recommended
During the winter months, we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.

• There is a non-refundable pet fee of $125 (plus taxes) for 1 dog max.
