Lollipops is a four-bedroom, three-bath second-row home located one mile south of Myrtle Beach in Long Bay Estates and within easy walking distance to the Springmaid Resort Pier and the Myrtle Beach State Park pier. Public beach access is located across the street. This ocean view home has approximately 2,600-square-foot of living space. It features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with a microwave and dishwasher, washer, dryer, hardwood floors, two central heat and air conditioning units, and ceiling fans. Five Smart TVs and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include two king, two queen, one twin-sized bed, and one queen-sized sofa bed. Outdoor amenities include a fenced-in yard with a private 15-by-30-foot acrylic saltwater swimming pool (two-to-six-foot deep), a large covered ocean view porch, a sundeck overlooking the pool, and an open play area for children. Under the house are a covered poolside picnic table with a sitting area, an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, and covered parking. Motorcycles, trailers, campers, and motor homes are prohibited in Long Bay Estates. This home is located at the end of a dead-end street, so traffic is limited in this area. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful. Unfortunately, we arrived on Saturday and went to use the oven on Sunday and it lit up like a firework. I called the emergency number and they sent out someone from the realty office to look at it on Monday. Then a repair man came later on Monday afternoon. He said the part they needed was available locally but he wasn’t sure if they’d pay the extra money rather than ordering it online at a cheaper price. Apparently they had to order it and the part wasn’t replaced until late on Wednesday afternoon. We bought food but weren’t able to cook anything from Sunday to Wednesday. I asked someone from the realty (Pam) to see if they would reimburse us for some of the meals we had to eat out. She kind of laughed at me. I know the oven breaking was nobody’s fault but I think I should have gotten something in return for the inconvenience for not being able to cook. This was the second house we rented in Long Bay Estates that had a broken oven. We also rented the house because beach access was located right across the street from the property. Unfortunately, you needed a key to access the beach and the realty said they did not have one.
