Lofty Expectations is a beautiful custom built log home that sits above Lake McClure, a beautiful 4 acre lake in the Walnut Mountain Community in Ellijay, Ga. This home is very spacious with an open floor plan and plenty of windows providing light and a beautiful view of the outdoors. The massive log construction is not only pleasing to the eye but defines the solidly built construction of this home.
The handsome kitchen with all stainless steel appliances including a Viking gas stove, exotic granite counters and a working island provides you with everything needed to whip up some great meals. The large dining table along with the island allows seating for 8 people to share meals together comfortably.
The great room has a gas fireplace for those chilly mountain evenings, a 50" flat screen tv and plenty of board games for enjoyment. Two sets of double doors lead out to the large open deck overlooking the lake. A huge custom dining table on the deck is the perfect place to enjoy your favorite beverage or a meal in the fresh mountain air. Of course there is a gas grill located here for your convenience too (propane provided).
There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, one king and one queen both with 32" TV's. A full bath with tub/shower combo is also available on the main level. The king master is on the upper level and has it's own private balcony, an electric fireplace, 36" tv and a full bath with double vanities and a huge tiled shower for two.
The terrace level provides another king bedroom, a mini kitchen and a beautiful game room with regulation size pool table. For the movie fanatic, you will be thrilled with the gorgeous home theater complete with leather reclining theater seating and projection screen.
Enjoy walking around the lake, the area is very park like and there is an abundance of wildlife so don't forget the camera. It is only a 5 minute walk to a beautiful waterfall too! After a great day in the mountains take a moment to de-stress in the hot tub, the perfect way to relax before a good nights rest!

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.
Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-wash cloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, telephone for local calls and propane grill.
In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).
