The "Loco Motive" house is located in the heart of Rock Hill. It is an older mill house in the Aragon Mill area and has been recently updated. Just two blocks away from Glencairn Gardens, 1/2 a mile from Winthrop University and the Indoor sports complex , and less than a mile from Downtown Rock Hill. We are 15 minutes from Fort Mill, SC, 20 minutes to Carowinds, and 25 minutes to Charlotte, NC. 803 area code 517-2411

Located in the Aragon Mill neighborhood, just two blocks away from Glencairn Gardens. Glencairn Gardens is an 11 acre paradise that boasts a variety of blooms year round. There are several fountains, swings, and walk ways that your family will surely enjoy. Also just a 1/2 a mile from Winthrop University, less than a mile from Downtown Rock Hill and Rock Hill's Indoor Sports Complex.

Summary: The house was clean, nicely decorated and CONVENIENT to where we needed to be (Winthrop University and the Oratory). We were only there to sleep and eat breakfast. It was very nice with no real problems. It was a quiet neighborhood (no dogs barking through the night as a few reviews stated). You could hear the early morning train (thus the house's name) but it was in the distance and I found it comforting not annoying. I don't think it would even wake an infant. Maybe next time we will have time to explore the area. ❤️
