OUR PROPERTY
Located in the village of Fearnan, 3.5 miles from picturesque Kenmore, 16 Munros is set in a luxurious setting of waterside homes known as Shoreside adjacent to the stunning Loch Tay.
Set well back from the quiet A827 road, our home has every modern luxury available and is set out for peace and calm to wash over you during your stay. From fluffy bathroom towels to soft sofas our home has it all waiting for you to enjoy – and of course plenty of munros for a bagging on our doorstep.
LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN - upstairs
16 Munros is an ‘upside down’ house with bedrooms on the ground floor and living space all on the upper floor maximising the wonderful views over Loch Tay.
The entire upper floor is open plan maximising your time together with distinct dining, lounging and kitchen areas… When the weather permits, breakfast on the balcony is an absolute must as dawn rises on another beautiful day on Tayside.
All furniture and art works are to an exceptional standard and if you ever get bored there is a decent DVD library and access to Freeview channels on the 50 inch LG television. The house is fully wi-fi’d up!
PLEASE NOTE: the sofas which are exceptionally comfy are very, very low so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
BEDROOMS (Sleeps 4) - downstairs
We have two beautiful bedrooms with one en-suite and another with full bath and shower room adjacent to it… The en-suite has a super king size bed while the second bedroom has two extra long twin beds.
All linen is of luxurious quality with towels, bedding and everything you need as part of your holiday package.
BATHROOMS - downstairs
The en-suite is a large, bright and airy shower room. The separate bathroom – used by bedroom two and for all guests – is a very large full bathroom with bath and separate shower.
EXTERNAL & AMENITIES
Our home is located in a quiet village on a luxury development of waterside homes known as Shoreside. The house benefits from a large expanse of shared green space as well as a shared ‘beach’ (think shingly/rocky, not sandy).
And you have access to our swimming pool – its 14.5 miles long and 490ft deep; the beautiful Loch Tay…
WHAT TO DO NEARBY?
Kenmore, has just about every conceivable outdoor equipment available for hire from bikes to boats, fine dining, pub grub and the outrageously fun HotBox at Taymouth Marina - a giant sauna with access to the Loch; get hot, cool down, grab a drink!
Behind Shoreside is the Ben Lawers and Schiehallion area, home to many Munros and Corbetts, enough to keep the family hillwalker busy for weeks.
Aberfeldy, a short 10 miles from Shoreside, houses the beautiful art deco Birks Cinema as well as numerous restaurants and coffee shops. A little further afield Pitlochry houses the famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre for all your cultural needs. Oh and don’t forget Whiskey Distilleries abound in this area for those keen on a dram…
