Positive: We had a spacious, quirky but really appealing apartment that was very welcoming - we felt at home right away. This old classic building has been very nicely refurbished to a very high standard including modern kitchen and bathroom furnishings. I really like the village of Gimmeldingen - walks around the village and hikes into the forest were very enjoyable and its proximity to shopping, restaurants, and more in Neustadt was very convenient as well. And don’t forget to try the little and excellent Thai restaurant ( Nipa Thai) just up the hill - a very pleasant surprise in such a small village!
Negative: If you have a large vehicle, parking could be a bit challenging but our mid-sized estate was an easy park.
Summary: Comfortable, classy, and nicely situated.
