This quintessential Chincoteague Cottage is just a short stroll from Main Street Restaurants, Shops, and Robert Reed Waterfront Park - home to THE most amazing Chincoteague Sunsets, and many free family events over the Summer. The perfect blend of Yesteryear and Modern Amenities, there's no better home base for making Chincoteague Island Vacation Memories. And with plenty of parking, make sure to bring the boat or other water toys to enjoy!
Upon entering Little Red Cottage, you’ll love the special touches this circa 1960’s home has - beautiful curved doorways and rustic hardwood floors are warm and welcoming. After a fun-filled day exploring Assateague National Seashore, only 5 minutes away, you’ll love relaxing in the Living Area with oversized comfy furnishings, Flat Screen Streaming TV, and Free WiFi.
Mealtime will be a bay breeze with the well-stocked Kitchen. Whip up a batch of Margaritas in the Blender, and enjoy them around the Fire Pit outside, as you take in that salty, sweet sea breeze. Well equipped with all you need (No DW), there’s no need to eat out everyday, unless you want to, that is!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the little red cottage. It was the perfect location to explore the restaurants and shops on Main Street and Maddox and also have access to the shuttle stop for the Pony Swim. Our family had a great time. The space was a perfect home base for the weekend's activities. A couple of recommendations for the host: Would recommend weeding a bit more to improve the aesthetic of the home and dusting a bit more under the main furniture. We had a 1 year old crawling around so we had to do some additional sweeping. There was also a grill and fire pit in the original pictures which did not seem to be available.
