Little Greenways is a rural retreat surrounded by the Sidlesham countryside near Chichester. With a 10 minute drive to Chichester town centre and a 10 minute drive to West Wittering beach, Little Greenways is the perfect location to explore the area. Upon entering Little Greenways you will be in ore of the giant window overlooking the glorious views of the countryside which fills the room with light and Chichester Cathedral, Goodwood Racecourse and the South Downs in the distance. There is a large king sized bed perfect for those lazy mornings where you can just admire the view from the large window in front of you. There is a cosy living area with TV and DVD player, ideal to cuddle up and watch a film after a busy day exploring the local area. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle, perfect to self-cater during your stay. There is also a bathroom with walk in shower. The cottage is situated on the outskirts of Sidlesham, a popular village just a few miles south of the historic cathedral city of Chichester. Easton Lane itself is a country lane with a variety of properties, most of which are interspersed with fields and paddocks. Pagham Nature Reserve with the renowned pub/restaurant, the Crab & Lobster, is within walking distance and Chichester itself is only a short drive away. The city has a huge range of events and places to visit, from art galleries to theatres (The Festival Theatre and Minerva Theatre attract actors and visitors from all over the world) and it has an interesting array of shops and restaurants. Just to the south of Sidlesham is a beautiful strip of coastline....from the sandy beach at West Wittering to the more rugged beaches at Bracklesham Bay and Selsey, there is a wide choice. The sailing villages of Bosham and Itchenor are within a short drive, the latter village also offering harbour tours. To the north of Chichester the beautiful South Downs provide a contrasting and scenic landscape, with the rolling hills dotted with quintessential English villages, full of thatched and flint cottages. The Singleton Open Air Museum provides a wonderful day out for a family, where craftsmen from a bygone era ply their trades and this is also the venue for the rare breeds animal show. Both Portsmouth to the west and Brighton to the east can be reached by car or train with 45 minutes or so and there is a mainline station to London Victoria from Chichester.
