Positive: Everything tidy, lots of towels and blankets provided. Really cool wireless projector over the bed for watching movies you can hook up your phone/laptop to. Little notes left for us were helpful and I really appreciated that our back door was cleared overnight so we could get out the door in the morning after the blizzard! Shovel was also provided for us and came in handy a couple times so that was much appreciated.
Negative: The home was lovely but not quite prepared for us as immediately upon entering the temperature was at 8°C and took a few hours for the place to warm up, also the shower glass and washer/dryer hadn’t been cleaned. The city did not maintain the road that the house is on and we got stuck twice in the snow. They didn’t plow our street at all in our 5 day visit, not at all the owners fault but something to be aware of if you stay here in the winter. The property owners didn’t maintain the end of the driveway during our visit which made getting out on foot challenging (we kind of had to climb a snowbank to get out on to the road) but they provided a shovel for us to do it ourselves so it was fine.
