Located on the Dingle Peninsula, 7km east from the vibrant fishing town of Dingle, this delightful newly refurbished holiday cottage is a great base for visitors to the region. The area is bounded on the north by mountains and on the south by the cliffs and inlets of Dingle Bay, 40km west of the large town of Tralee. No. 9 Gort an Oir is a delightful detached holiday cottage located on a quiet development on the edge of Lispole. On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen with dining area, a utility room and a comfortable living room with 42” smart tv and an electric stove. There is also a large and bright double bedroom with en-suite shower located on the ground floor. On the first floor are an additional two bedrooms, one with 4 single beds and a double bedroom along with a family bathroom. Outside there is ample parking and a large lawned garden with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Wi-Fi is available free of charge and pets are allowed at a fee of €25 per pet. Lispole is a great base for a wonderful Irish getaway; you'll be spoilt for choice with places to go on the Dingle Peninsula. The nearest beach is Minard (2.5km) which oversees a beautiful stony beach. As you approach Minard beach you will see the ruins of Minard castle. The castle was a stronghold for the Knights of Kerry. The Dingle Way, which is a popular walk on the peninsula, goes through the area, passing Minard Castle and Lispole village before joining a mountain track that leads to the old Conor Pass road and into Dingle. Kate’s Cross (600m) a lovely little village shop and deli open daily for all your holiday essentials and 200m up the road you will find O’Sullivan’s Pub.
