Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: location for central pafos is very good - many resturants and bars within easy walking distance. All cuisines and styles are covered. Easyily accessable for The beaches and seafront. The apartment is well decorated, clean and spacious with all modern appliances if needed. The only exception being the Bathroom / shower (See comments below.) The balcony outlook was limited, but on the upside it was very quiet.
Negative: The shower was the real downside, From Day one it didn't work - The host George did come out and agreed it was not working and had to order new parts. That took a couple of days to get fixed. But even when fixed it was very poor - The finest of mist-like spray that hardly got you wet. Asides from having to stand in the old bathtub that was no longer in use and a curtain that just wrapped itself around you. The reason for the poor shower is that it's essentially just a 5.5kw handwash unit - not up to the job. (I know this stuff being ex plumbing trade.) Here in the U.K we are used to 10-11kw. aprt from the showering limitations. the apartment was good.
Summary: Good apartment, great location and facilities - just let down by the showering experiance.
