3 Bedroom Cabin in Inlet

Limelight is our family’s Adirondack camp at the end of Limekiln Rd with beautiful views of Limekiln Lake. There are three bedrooms and a futon in the living room for a maximum of six guests, a bathroom with shower, views of the lake from the rear bedroom and front lawn. This south facing property gets sunlight from morning till afternoon. The camp features an open living/kitchen breakfast nook with full laundry facilities, and a separate dining area with beautiful lake views. Cooking and heat are propane, water heat is propane on demand for ample hot water. There is a full-size refrigerator and freezer, a Weber grill outdoor for grilling and a fire-pit in the front yard. Kindling is provided, firewood is available from roadside stands on Limekiln Rd. Kitchen is well equipped with appliances and microwave as well as a full-size cooktop and oven. Parking is available for up to four vehicles. At the end of the road, 60 feet from the lawn is an access point for swimming, launching kayaks or light canoes and watching loons and sunsets. The lake has a public boat launch and beach in a state campsite on the west side of the lake. There are several hiking trails from the campsite as well. Limelight is located only 3 miles outside the town of Inlet and 13 miles from Old Forge. At the top of the road a short walk from the camp is the east entrance way to the 64,000 acre Moose River Plains Wilderness & Recreation Area. There are hiking trails on the north and south shores of Limekiln Lake, to nearby Fawn Lake and others only a short drive away. The Town of Inlet features mountain biking trails & rentals, canoe, kayak, motorboat/pontoon and sailboat rentals, seaplane rides, horseback riding, boat tours, and fishing Nearby attractions & activities include the Vanderbilt's Great Camp Sagamore, the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain, The Wild Center at Tupper Lake, several mountain hikes, WW Durant Lake Cruises at Raquette Lake, great restaurants, Moose River Plains Wild Forest & Primitive Camping, Payne's Seaplane Rides at 7th Lake, Enchanted Forest Water Safari, Fulton Chain of Lakes Lake Cruises aboard The Clearwater, festivals, craft shows, VIEW Arts Center, and many others! * This is a housekeeping cabin, beds have blankets, mattress protectors, pillows & spreads, please bring your own sheets 3 queen: (BR 2 & BR3 and futon if used) and 2 Twin (BR 1), pillowcases, & bath towels/toiletries. Septic-Safe toilet tissue is provided, there is usually a partial roll of paper towel paid forward but please bring all additional paper supplies. * Tap water is lab certified pure, UV sterilized, a deep well, sweet and delicious. A pressure tank allows for high water pressure for showering and cleaning. * Cabin will be clean when you arrive. We do not provide cleaning services so please leave cabin as it was when you arrived. There is a vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials on site.
