Lilac Cottage Description Lilac Cottage is a wonderful cottage in Bicknell, UT. Capital Reef National Park is 20 minutes away along gorgeous Highway 24. This home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a brand new kitchen and bathroom easily accessible to all guests. The second bedroom and bathroom is a more private suite addition with doors to the outside. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking pots, pan, utensils, BBQ grill utensils, dishwasher and food containers. There is an outside propane grill. The pantry has lots of storage and a washer and dryer. Detergent is supplied. The cottage has a king size bed and a queen size bed to accommodate 4 guests. The couch can sleep one adult or two small children. All linens are supplied. The yard is large and has lots of private areas. Even a hammock! There is a lovely covered back porch on which to relax and take in the view of Bicknell Bottoms and Boulder Mountain. There are yard games available which are shared with The Little House, ID # 4507406, another guest rental on the property. The Little House can also be rented for additional guests if you are looking for a family reunion spot. Please Note: there is no air conditioning, however, after living in this home for a year during one of the hottest Summers, I found I never needed it. It is well insulated with large shade trees. Temperatures cool down to 45-55 at night, cooling things down to maintain a pleasant temperature.
