The Lightkeeper's Rest is an A frame style house which is an open concept living space with a master bed and bath on the main floor. Upstairs features a queen bedroom with overhanging deck on the west side, and a bedroom with two twin beds on the east side. A full bathroom is at the top of the stairs on the second floor. A fully stocked kitchen opens up to the dining area and living room. The master bathroom also has a washer and dryer available for use during your stay. The deck wraps all around the house, which is surrounded by park like settings, and there is a private fire pit in the yard., firewood is free. The private trail to the beach is in between cottages 6 and 7 just to the west of the house, which is a easy 4 minute walk. Clean, cozy, pet free, private cottages overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Each of our 9 cottages and our A frame house are fully furnished, and each one is unique and has its own charm and features. Step out the door of each cottage for a walk through the dunes to the beach, or wander through the beautiful garden, or down to the clam shack for grilling and chilling. We are located in the center of the hamlet of Klipsan Beach, seven miles north of Long Beach. Our eight cabins and a cabana face west atop the dune, while our A frame house sits nestled among manicured gardens in a retreat-like setting. A short walk along a grassy path leads to the incredible shoreline of the mighty Pacific. For many KBC is "the place to stay" whether they come to fish, clam, play in the sand, go for long walks, or just sit and gaze into an immense body of water. It is restful and invigorating to be here. We are centrally located on the peninsula to provide access to beach combing, fishing, hiking, bike riding, or visiting the attractions in nearby Long Beach within a 10 minutes drive.
