The house backs onto a public golf course with a peaceful wooded walking path by the canal which you can take to the Bahai temple in Wilmette. There is free onsite parking behind the house. Summary: Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The included parking spot was a definite plus. Very close to Northwestern University if you're in town for a visit. We were there to visit Loyola, which was a little further away, but a very easy (approx. 20 min.) drive. Close to the "L" train, which we took to downtown Chicago for some sightseeing. The basement apartment was exactly as the pictures showed. Everything was clean and well maintained. The heated floors were nice. It was perfect for my daughter and me. Also, the host (Sara) was prompt with her responses to any questions that I had and wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed.
