Nelson House is unique; a modern detached duplex with patio garden built directly adjacent to the medieval town wall. The property is accessed up a wide flight of stairs at first floor level. Nelson House is located in the heart of Tenby town centre, just a few minutes walk from its picturesque harbour and beautiful sandy beaches. The duplex is ideal for 4 guests, but could sleep 6 at a push. It has one double bedroom, two singles beds in the common living space and a sofa bed. Weekly bookings only during peak seasons. Sat-Sat. Discounts apply for 7+ day bookings at all other times. Nelson House offers the perfect location, situated within the town walls, where guests can enjoy Tenby’s stunning golden beaches, shops, restaurants and bars, right on their doorstep. Newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, Nelson House is a modern, detached, duplex apartment featuring a light and airy mezzanine living space upstairs with TV, Freeview, DAB radio/bluetooth speaker, free wifi and even some colouring pads and pencils for our visitors. With exposed character ceiling beams and stylish décor, it offers plenty of room to relax and unwind with family or friends. The well equipped kitchen and dining area downstairs is complete with all mod cons and opens on to a pretty patio outside, which is perfect for al fresco dining, sunbathing or barbeques. The bathroom is next to the main bedroom, which is nestled into town wall to allow a quiet, restful night’s sleep in the comfy double bed. Sleeping arrangements are flexible; as well as the double bedroom downstairs there are two single beds with guest storage underneath in a separate, partitioned sleeping area within the mezzanine lounge. In addition to this, guests can use the modular sofa bed upstairs to create a double bed there, too. Nelson House sleeps up to four comfortably but can accommodate six at a squeeze. We’ve tried to include everything to make our guests’ stay a lovely as possible, so bedding and linen are provided as well as more practical essentials like children’s acrylic cutlery and crockery, a hairdryer, washing machine, vacuum cleaner and ironing board. We ask guests to bring their own towels. Access to the property is through the medieval town wall via a key coded locked gate. There is a wide external staircase leading to the first floor level entrance. Because of this, Nelson House may not be suitable with those with mobility issues. Tenby is situated within the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park can be easily accessed by car, rail or bus. The rail and coach station are both within a 5 minute walk from the property. There is a multi story car park nearby, next to a Sainsbury’s supermarket. There are activities aplenty in Tenby, such as crabbing and exploring the lifeboat station, wall climbing, boat trips, ghost walks, golf and horse and cart rides to name a few. Further afield, a trip to Caldey Island, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton World of Activities, Dinosaur Park and Anna’s Welsh Zoo are all within a 10 mile radius and well worth a trip. Note during peak periods the only changeover day is on Saturday, subject to availability. However to fit in with adjacent bookings it may be possible for some flexibility.
