This 1856 year modern gem in historic downtown Jersey City. Private larger backyard and entire house. There are many upgrades mixed with old world charm and contemporary features. This one of a kind historical home is located literally 5 minutes from the heart of Manhattan! Enjoy only minutes to NYC from your doorstep. We are a few blocks away from the PATH train station which runs to NYC 24/7.

You’ll be staying in your own fully-furnished house including WiFi, smart TV, and all utilities (cable TV available by inquiry for additional cost). The floor plan provides an open living space with a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, and bathroom, charming private larger bedroom with office desk and chair. The house is set up just for guests so it can truly feel like your home during your stay and there’s plenty of space to set up your laptop or stretch out on the couch. A window air conditioner is installed in the bedroom and nearly every room. This urban NYC style row house. The House is a cozy, clean, and safe home away from home in mixed community. It is a fast commute to NYC in a vibrant neighborhood with terrific restaurants. During warm seasons, noise can be heard from successful restaurants on the block. Who knows, you may love it so much you decide to stay longer!

You will have the entire 2 floors house unit to yourself. there is no shared space , guest will have entire 2 floor houses to yourself. That includes the 1 living room, kitchen, and 1 bedroom , private brick surrounding backyard in the city limit as shown in my photos. This is a residential community. It is important that you respect the property rules and the other residents during your stay.

This is the perfect space for families, friends or couples looking to explore the tristate area. The lighting in this home is warm and relaxing. Drop your bags, kick your shoes off, and pop a seat in our home. We expect most of our guests to visit NYC everyday. After spending the whole day out, you can't ask for a better place
The home is basically over the actual PATH Subway.

All bedrooms have super comfortable 10-13 inch mattresses, one queen size bed sleep two, one bunker beds sleep two

First Floor
For more entertainment, we have placed board games and puzzles in the dresser located in the living room on the first floor. There is living room, bathroom and all brick surrounding backyard in first floor . There is a futon couch bed in living room sleeps 2 people.
Second Floor
The bedrooms is located on the 2nd floor with queen bed and 2 bunker beds. For four guests, we will provide queen size beds, bunker beds with fitting sheets, cover sheet.
We take the health and safety of guests seriously. Between each stay, the house is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following guidance from the CDC. Cleaners wear protective garments (e.g mask, gloves) and wipe surfaces, cabinet handles, door knobs, etc. with cleaning solutions that follow CDC guidance. All linens, dishware, glassware and silverware are also washed between stays. Cleaning products and tools are provided so you can clean and sanitize as well.
The neighborhood
Downtown Jersey City has so much to offer, super hip, fun, and safe. Everything you need is around the block, plenty of shops and eateries, restaurants, cafes.
Shopping mall, movie theater, supermarkets, park, library are walking distance.
It is a wonderful neighborhood for New York City commuters and travelers
When you stay at here, you are only:
3 Blocks from the Grove Path Train
1 Blocks from Downtown area (local shops and restaurants)
15 minutes walk to Hudson river waterfront.
7 Mins train ride to the WTC
18 Mins to 34th street, NYC
10 Min Drive to the Statue of Liberty ferry

You can use directions on your mobile device for updated info and time schedule. Plan it carefully; people don’t usually go with this option given the heavy luggage in the end it's probably not worth it.

It's a 15 min drive to Downtown New York City, 30 mins drive to Midtown. Depending on traffic/rush hours (give or take 5-10 mins)

The fastest, easiest, most popular way to NYC is by Path subway train
Closest Path train station is the Grove Street Path station, a less than 2 min walk (one short block) from my house
At this station, there're two trains going to NYC:
E2a) World Trade Center train:
This train makes two stops:
- Exchange Place (3 mins from Grove),
- World Trade Center (7 mins from Grove)
E2b) 33st train:
This train makes 4 stops:
- Newport (5 mins from Grove),
- Christopher, NYC (10 mins from Grove),
- 9th street, NYC (12 mins from Grove),
- 14 street, NYC (14 mins from Grove),
- 23rd street,NYC (16 mins from Grove),
- 33rd Street (18 mins from Grove)
From any of these stations in NYC, you can walk or easily catch one of the MTA (NYC) subway trains to get around the city. New York City has the most robust and convenient subway system in the world.

7-Day Unlimited Pass $21: All passes give you free NYC bus transfers, and free unlimited “in-station” subway transfers.
Guests will be provided key access on the day they arrive. Guests have access to the entirety of the 2 floor unit. My address will be visible once your booking is confirmed.
Rental Period
We’re monthly rentals as per Jersey City’s rental rules. Your reservation needs to be at least 29 days,
I typically have my calendar available for one month at a time to prevent gaps in between. We can extend if you need more days.
The property requires identity verification on all guests age 18 years and older. Please enter the name and email address of anyone 18 years old or older who will be staying in the house as an additional occupant and UPLOAD EACH ADULT’S GOVERNMENT-ISSUED ID.
We do this in an effort to keep our listing and its belongings safe, secure, insured, and accounted for. We have had big issues with unverified guests before. In order to keep hosting our beautiful home this is our new personal policy. If you have questions about this, we are more than willing to explain it further. 4.Please note: If a stay extends beyond the confirmed dates, without a pre-approved extension, all guests will enter into a new agreement to pay a daily rental rate of $485 per night. This will only apply if a guest fails to leave the rental at the agreed upon date and an extension is not offered or agreed upon. There are most likely other guests who have reserved this home for future dates so please be courteous and check out on the agreed upon date, as per the booking confirmation. Thank you!
5.Free Street Parking
No parking on property — We do not have a garage or driveway but there is street parking within a block or two. Parking garages on the corner, down the block.
There are several paid Parking garages located near the area and down the block.
Street parking available from 4pm till 10am Monday-Friday and all weekend. Paid parking is located at Grove Point: 100 Christopher Columbus at Newark Avenue near the Grove Street PATH subway to New York City
Please be advised that Police and parking in-force officers are always driving around the area given fine to cars who are not legal park. Each parking violations fine cost about $55
•City Street Parking is free, limited and not guaranteed. Please follow street cleaning rules detailed on the street signs. Host is not responsible for free city street parking.
