The Legacy on Mara Lake is a unique property on the Shuswap lake system for folks to be able to return from a vacation feeling refreshed and like you really got away from life's stressors with a little home away from home. The Legacy on Mara Lake is located 2 kms from the township of Sicamous and is close to all amenities. An 810 square feet condo, it has a one bedroom with king bed and one den with a double sized sleigh bed and twin sized trundle that slides out from underneath. This modern condo is large enough that two couples or a couple with children can enjoy the space without feeling cramped. The modern décor reflects the architectural design of the building. Geo-thermal heating and cooling allows for consistent temperatures throughout the rooms of the condo unit. The spacious covered balcony is situated on the inner court of the building providing you shelter from the highway traffic noise, wind, rain and sun on those long hot summer days. It affords you views of the lake; the two pools; and the outdoor gazebo courtyard with an outdoor kitchen. This unit provides the perfect place to hang, catch up on your reading, bbq and enjoy meals without missing the action. Or head to the beach located just off the pool area to work on your tan or frolic in the lake. Forget having to wait in line to launch from the government wharf, your private, deepwater, gated boat slip is included with the rental of the unit for your vessel to explore the 1000 kms of shoreline of one of the most popular four season recreational destinations in BC. Whip across the lake to the Hyde Mountain golf course or down the channel for lunch at Moose Mulligans. The surrounding mountains provide beautiful trails for x-country skiing, snowmobiling, mountain biking and hiking. At the end of a day of fun, a glass of wine or a good workout at the gym followed by the steam room will help keep sore muscles at bay. On a more practical note, there is one underground parking spot assigned to the unit as well as visitors and public parking spots outside the entrance to the Legacy on Mara Lake. We as the owners live in the township of Sicamous and are available within minutes to attend should our assistance be required. Our goal is to help you have a comfortable stay while you create your memories of your vacation here on the shores of the Shuswap. Security or Damage Deposit A refundable security/damage deposit of 1000.00 CAD is due on arrival. Pet Policy, Deposit and Fees Pets are not allowed due to bylaws/regulations/policies. NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless. Cleaning on Departure Cleaning on Departure is included in the rent Cleaning During Stay Cleaning/Maid service is included in the rent and occurs every Sun during a stay. Parking Parking is free. Waterfront and/or Beach Property is waterfront (i.e. no properties between the property and water OR property is in a community with private waterfront access). Mara Lake is less than a 1 minute walk from the property without crossing a road. The fine sand beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. There is a private dock, moorage and float anchor. Secure gated private deep water slip accommodating vessels up to 26 feet available to renter. Lake is relatively calm for paddle boards, etc. Snow Skiing and Boarding Property is not near a ski resort.
