A completely renovated two-story home overlooking the mighty Mississippi that offers the comforts of modern amenities with 1890's charm. The upstairs has 2 large bedrooms: one with 2 full size beds, the other a queen size bed. Additionally, the spacious living room has a sleeper sofa, so plenty of room to stretch out, relax and easily sleeps 8. The kitchen offers everything for cooking a family meal and the formal dining room has a large table which seats 8. Enjoy the charming vintage bathroom while taking a soak in the claw foot tub. Whether you stay a weekend or more the laundry room has a wash sink, washer and dryer for you to use.
The exterior deck has a gas grill, outdoor table and chairs. You can go fishing and enjoy our fire pit right on the river front or sit on the deck with a drink while watching the barges go by.
This property is conveniently located on the main road in LeClaire Iowa and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, distilleries, bars and a grocery store right across the street.

Summary: Great location to check out all the shops, dining, and drinking establishments in Le Claire! Enjoyed the river views! Provided a great place for local family members to gather for holiday brunch. Hosts decorated for the holidays including a tree all decorated and ready to go. We had a wonderful time getting together with a couple of extended family members on a couple of occasions and then a holiday bruch with the entire immediate family. Clean and great set up for entertaining.
