Summary: The rental is a guest house to the main house on the other side of the driveway. Inside you'll have no view, but outside is a spectacular view of the Amboise castle. And indeed from the castle is an excellent view of where you'd be staying. I missed the chance to have my wife waving at me from the house's driveway, while I waved back from the castle wall. The rental has three bedrooms. The one on the ground floor is very nice, and has its own shower, but its toilet is across the hall by which one accesses the staircase to the second floor. On the second floor is a second bedroom with a number of single beds (for the kids) with its own bathroom, and through that bedroom is the bedroom we stayed in, very nice, with its own toilet and shower. The kitchen was stocked with the cookware we needed, and we had a nice dining room table and a nice living room area. The owner was helpful and friendly. We recommend it.
