Lazy days is a well equipped beach holiday house in a garden setting. The back yard is fully fenced for young ones and furry friends. Room for outdoor activities with the lawn, decking , giant chess game, shady area and even a children's playground. . .. It has a relaxed feel with two lounge rooms.. So it is a sixities front with a year 2000 extension and 2019 kitchen. Now I am no longer doing back to back bookings ( people out and new people in on the same day) as I live a distance away and still work full time. I am able to take midweek bookings with the assistance of local help .I like to give a combination of early checkin in and a late checkout and make the experience longer and stress less for those staying. .
Now a quick paragraph. I will not be renting Lazy days after April 15th as a holiday house.
There is a dishwasher.
If the weather turns, there is plenty to do in the house with billiard, foosball and games so there is something for all ages.
Don't mind if the front porch is chalked. The new addition is the gas fired Pizza Oven for outside. I usually provide the pizza dough as well.
The house is well heated and cooled. The beds are always made up and bathroom towels provided. The colour scheme may be a bit Byron Bay hippy on the inside. The house is about having fun and relaxing. Location is an easy walk to the famous rockpool at the back beach. The front beach and shops are walkable But then Blairgowrie is not as congested as Sorrento.
There is ample area of parking on the site without having to move cars ..
Boats can be parked in the long driveway.. The neighbourhood is a quiet one. The birds are the wake up call. If the ocean is playing up you will hear it in the backyard.
Come together as two or 3 groups or 3 generations. It is all good. But a big no no to schoolies. tried twice and never again.
Blairgowrie is a sandy bush setting . Along with the the bush are natures creatures mostly small. Accept that you may come across them .. This is a pet friendly accommodation and I do not apologise for that so please do not attack me with your pet allergies after your stay.
NOW I AM MORE THAN FED UP WITH THE DUSTY REPORTS. THE PLACE IS DUST WIPED USUALLY THE DAY BEFORE ENTRY. I DO NOT FLUFF DUST AROUND WITH A DUSTER. ALL THE DRIVEWAYS ARE SANDY SOIL. IN DRY WEATHER IN PARTICULAR
THE DUST RISES EVERY TIME A CAR MOVES OR SOME ON WALKS ON IT. LEAVE THE SECURITY DOOR OPEN AND IN IT COMES TO THE HOUSE.- THERE ARE DIRT ROADS, SAND DUNES..IT IS THE BUSH!!! TREES ARE COVERED IN IT. IT IS NOT A CONCRETE JUNGLE WITH FILTERS.
ALSO RECENTLY A TENANT HAD A SPILL OF WATER AND CONTACTED ME WITH ANNOYANCE THAT THE WATER HAD NOT DRAINED THROUGH THE LINO FLOOR AND IT WAS ANNOYING WALKING THROUGH IT ..YET..NO BRAINS TO WIPE IT UP.
A CALL THAT THE HUGE TANK OF HOT WATER IS USED UP ( SIZE IS GOOD FOR 6 -8 PERSON HOUSEHOLD) WITH 2 PEOPLE AND WHAT WAS I GOING TO DO ABOUT IT. CALL CAME ABOUT 10 PM.
WAS TOO COLD TO PICK UP THEIR DOG POO.
IF LACKING IN BASIC LIFE SKILLS - GO ELSEWHERE.
