Positive: We booked this lovely house for my 50th birthday celebration. We had 10 other family members stay with us. The house was beautiful, spacious and well equipped in a great location with amazing views.
Negative: There were a few issues that came up for us. Although advertised as inclusive of linen, the week prior I was advised twe would need to provide our own linen (via a message on Booking.com, not text) which unfortunately I didn't see until the night before we left. A mad dash to buy king bed sheets & advise our guests was a bit stressful. Additionally, the hot water in the house stopped working and some of our guests had cold showers (it was fixed later that day, but apparently is a frequent occurrence). The owner was unresponsive for some hours that morning which was frustrating. The downstairs space also had no heating which significantly hindered it as a usable social & sleeping space in winter. While overall the house was beautiful, our experience was dampened due to these issues - especially considering we paid over $2000 for two nights (note we were subsequently refunded $200 for the linen inconvenience).
