Bridge Cottage:
A superb example of a historic Cotswolds house that has been updated and sympathetically restored to provide the perfect country experience.
Ground Floor:
The large sitting room at the front of the house has exposed beams, flagstone floors and a woodburner set in an inglenook with plenty of seating for a games night or a relaxing evening in front of the fire.
To the right is the dining room with flagstones with underfloor heating and a dining table that can expand to seat 12 comfortably.
A low doorway at the back takes you through to the expansive kitchen also with underfloor heating as well as an Everhot cooker plus a fan oven and induction hob, two whisper quiet dishwashers and an American style side-by-side fridge freezer.
The coffee station beyond the fridge leads through to the downstairs WC.
At the other end of the kitchen, the boot area and larder have double doors to the garden which are perfect for indoor / outdoor living on summer days.
The snug, just beyond the kitchen, has a four meter long built in sofa and 55" TV (as well as another woodburner) for film evenings or general mooching.
First Floor:
Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a superking bed and an ensuite with a rolltop bath and enormous walk in shower. (Sleeps 2)
The second bedroom has a king bed and a small but surprisingly spacious ensuite. (Sleeps 2)
The third bedroom (double bed, sleeps 2) and fourth bedroom (king bed, sleeps 2) share the family shower room at the end of the corridor, which has an even more enormous shower built into the curve of the original stairwell (removed long ago) and a rooflight directly above the showerhead.
The Old Laundry:
What it lacks in size it makes up for in history and charm!
Ground Floor
The main room on the ground floor comprises a small sitting area alongside a dining table and a kitchenette. There is a small sofa for lounging, watching a film or enjoying a glass of wine and while the kitchenette may not suit a three-course meal, it's perfect for breakfast and lunch or simple dinners (refrigerator with freezer compartment, two burner electric hob and combination microwave/oven/grill).
Also on the ground floor is a shower room, a corridor with coat storage and a vaulted bedroom with a king-size bed, beautiful oak floors and a stable door leading directly into the shared garden.
First Floor
The second bedroom is upstairs above the sitting room with two single beds as well as another small sitting area.
Outside
The walled garden is shared between the house and the cottage and has a dining terrace with a table that can expand to seat 12. There is further seating in the middle of the circular raised veg bed, as well as a few comfortable chairs dotted about and a gas BBQ. There is parking for two cars in the gravel area to the left of the house and further parking is available on the lane opposite, along the church wall.
There is off-street parking available for two cars, and additional on-street parking can be found nearby. Bridge House has a Type 2, EV charging point available to use on request.

The ceiling in the sitting room of the Old Laundry is circa 6’2’’ of clearance. The large bedroom, corridor and shower room have high ceilings, the upstairs bedroom has plenty of headroom but is in the eaves
Whilst private by virtue of being upstairs, the twin bedroom in The Old Laundry does not have a door; it is accessed via stairs up from the sitting area
Please be mindful there is a shallow stream adjacent to the property.It is separated by a low stone wall but children should be accompanied at all times
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
The maximum occupancy for Bridge House & The Old Laundry is 12 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants
Hen, Stag and other same sex groups are not permitted
