Positive: The cottage is gorgeous and has everything I needed. It was very comfortable. We enjoyed the garden and balcony very much.The owners were lovely to me. The area is lovely with enough walks to keep my dog happy. I enjoyed not being faced with a list of rules on arrival . We had a proper rest
Negative: The WiFi was a bit patchy but I didn't mind. There is only a very sparse bus service so having a car would be useful, I was content to wander in and around Kirkmichael so not driving was fine too.
Summary: Lovely house, friendly people, beautiful area.
