There is no "BRIDGE" to Daufuskie Island, so your adventure begins with a private boat or ferry ride. You can schedule land transportation to take you to the house, but we recommend renting a golf cart to explore the beautiful island. Upon entering the home, you will be met with mesmerizing views of the Atlantic Ocean and your toes will hit the sand as soon as you walk out the door. Erosion has brought the ocean to the back of the home at high tide, so be prepared for sun, sand and water!
On the first floor, you will find the main living area with kitchen, dining room and two bedrooms. The large living area is centered around an elegant sofa and 55' flat screen TV. There is also a sitting area to enjoy the amazing ocean views each morning.
The first bedroom has a king bed, pull out sofa bed, full bath and flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed, full bath and flat screen TV. The master bedroom on the second floor has been designed with relaxation in mind, you can enjoy the comforts of home with a king size bed and flat screen TV. The master suite has large closets, a jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
We do provide you with an initial (24 hours) supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags. We recommend that you bring the following: Additional Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Trash Bags, Napkins, Condiments, Dish Washing Liquid and Laundry Soap. We also suggest bringing spices to cook with, a hair dryer, coffee and coffee filters and beach towels. (We have a traditional coffee maker and Kuerig) And anything else you may need for your perfect vacation!
