The walk to Lakithra village is easy , flat road and there is a vast selection of tavernas and restaurants in just minutes , along with small mini market, a bakery and a pharmacy on the outskirts of the village. Big supermarkets such as Lidl and gas stations are 12 minutes by car on main road Ep. Odos Argostoliou-Porou.
The airport is only 7 minutes by car , but it is not walking distance as the route is hilly and is not suggested especially when carrying luggage.
Argostoli town is as close as a 14 minutes drive.
Within 7 minutes by car you have access to the sandy coast line of South Kefalonia's most pristine beaches such as Ammes, Avithos, Ai Helis Beach perfect for families with young children, as the shallow waters and sheltered bays make for safe and enjoyable swimming.
