Positive: The location, kitchen, lounge, dining area, and bedrooms were near perfect! Despite the heat outside, everything inside stayed cool even without using the air conditioners!
Negative: The floors were dirty when we arrived. We noticed this after about 10 minutes of walking around barefoot (ground floor), and so always had to wash our feet before, e.g. sitting on couch, or going upstairs (carpeted floors). We found a vacuum cleaner and did several rounds with it, which seemed to make it better, but a thorough wet-mopping of the floors would have been better. Communication with the owner via booking.com was very poor, as I did not yet have a local phone connection. Eventually she was able to be contacted and sort some of the problems out that we had. The bathtub seemed to be only temporarily installed as it wobbled a large amount when getting in. As a result, we did not use it. This definitely needs to be fixed! Hot water in the shower seemed to go on and off randomly, causing one to jump out of the way when the water suddenly became cold. Some more comfortable outdoor furniture would have been ideal, so that one could sit and eat outside.
