Here you will have a venue to enjoy a variety of water activities (paddle boards, kayaks and more ), lawn games, and campfires as well as many indoor games if by chance there is a rainy day. THE HOUSE: The main entrance brings you into the great room which is the center of activity. This space has vaulted ceilings and is open concept in design. It includes a living room with ample and comfortable seating, a dining area to include all guests, and a large outfitted kitchen (with lake views of course) for the cooks. The great room has a wall of windows which opens to an expansive deck overlooking the lake. Sliding doors can be opened to bring the outdoors in. On the deck you can grill your dinner, relax and share a drink, and cozy up by the fire pit . The main level of the home also includes a bedroom with a king sized bed, bathroom with walk in shower, and an open library/game room area. The lower patio level includes four bedrooms (queen beds), a full bath with tub and shower, and a common area for watching TV or playing games. The two lakeside bedrooms have glass sliding doors that open onto the patio. The mezzanine connects the two levels and includes a laundry room, access to the side yard and a half bath great for changing after a lake swim.
The owners of Lakeside Landing ocupy an apartment above the garage which is separate from the house. They use their own entrance and parking to afford guests privacy during their stay.
LOCATION: You will be vacationing in a VERY popular area of the Finger Lakes region just minutes away from award wining wineries, microbreweries, and farm to table restaurants. You will be just 6 miles from Watkins Glen with its famous raceway and gorge trail. The city of Corning (28 miles) has the Corning Museum of Glass with it’s extensive collections as well as a hands-on/interactive area that is fun for all ages. Ithaca (24 miles) offers a plethora of activities. The museum of the Earth (dinosaurs etc) , Shopping on the Ithaca Commons and many State parks including Taughannock State Park, Treman State Park, and Buttermilk State Park.

OUTDOORS: Lakeside Landing is situated on 2.3 private wooded acres with 200 feet of beachfront. The property includes fieldstone rock walls, forest walkways to the beach, and landscaped woodland gardens with blooming trees. There is a large grass yard with a fire pit and lots of room for corn hole and other yard games.
A walkway and stairs brings you to down a private beach. On your way there, a viewing deck offers yet another place to enjoy your coffee or evening drink at sunset. Lakeside, there is a beach house complete with changing room, refrigerator, and beach paraphernalia. The lakeshore is a long 200 foot shale beach. Shale stone is flat and worn smooth so it is easy to walk on and great for stone skipping contests. There is a 100’ long, deep water dock (15’ depth at the end) which includes a large deck area to lounge on while enjoying the water views.
BEACH TOYS: We have paddle boards, kayaks, a paddle boat and a varieties of “ floaties” for your use and enjoyment. Know that children are required to wear lifejackets at all times in the water. Differently sized life jackets are provided for your use.
