Enjoy the Northwoods of Ely Minnesota in style. Our hand scribed full cedar log home was painstakingly built by local craftsman two years in the making. Over 2100 square feet of log home living space that is located on a large quiet bay of Eagles Nest Lake Three. Just 15 miles from Ely, Minnesota, this vacation spot is gated and very private with over 350 feet of lakeshore and two acres. This log home has 3 bedrooms, two full baths, kitchen, dining, foyer entry and L-shaped lakeside 3 season room and covered porch with a large gas grill. A full laundry room is located in the heated garage. Outdoors, the seasonal heated, enclosed in-ground pool is connected by a cedar walkway and outdoor deck. The Pool is currently closed until 5/1/2021. The lot is stepped but level and easy to get around. The master bedroom has its own private Jacuzzi tub and full bath. The attached deck overlooks the gazebo and pool area. Both extra bedrooms are off opposites sides of the home. The new large fireplace offers the feel of a fishing lodge, a relaxing spot anytime of the day or year with a panoramic view of the bay on Eagles Nest.
The four definite seasons of Minnesota brings forth new adventures. For the snowmobiling enthusiast, the Taconite Trail of the Minnesota Arrowhead Trail system is a short distance away. Cross country skiing abounds on the lakes and trails nearby and trails for hunting, hiking, biking and jogging are strategically located on thousands of State and Federal lands nearby. Swimming, canoeing, fishing and kayaking are summer favorites. Fishing type boats are welcomed. A canoe will be provided at no charge. Kayak rentals are available in Ely.
