Enjoy this log home on deep water with floating covered dock with swim platform. Swim ladder located on dock. Our pontoon boat is available for your use when lake levels allow. Normally this is between April 1 - October 20. We will allow you to borrow it with our authorization and a nominal fee of $50.00 per day which we collect prior to check in. The fee is not included on our on line quote and is collected separately. We do not charge for the boat on check in or check out day. We also have two kayaks located at the dock for the quiet lake moments under your own speed. (Please note the video tab to see the entire property)

House has wonderful serpentine lighted path down to the lake. Golf cart available if you would rather ride then walk. We offer a fire pit with stone steps accessing the lake front with a nice walk. Home is located near the dam in the Chatham Ford subdivision. Outdoor deck overlooking the lake with fire pit.
Beautiful, four-bedroom log cabin with two separate living areas to enjoy your time away! Separate loft sleeping area adds 5th bedroom area. Located on Lake Nottely a few miles outside of Blairsville, Georgia, the lake is surrounded by mountains and is known for its great fishing. The home is located in a subdivision with other million-dollar homes.
The home is decorated with outstanding, log home furniture and all modern conveniences. Large, two-story, stone gas fireplace logs in main living area with flat screen TV adjoins large, comfortable screened porch with hammock and comfortable outdoor furniture. Also located on first floor is a large MBR with walk in closet, large bathroom with double sinks and large doors opening out to upper screen porch. Lower level has Large Screen TV room with sectional couch. Hot Tub and ping pong table located on lower screen porch deck. Please check out our video to see more about our home.
Two master bedrooms, king-size beds with large attached bathroom. Both master bedrooms are lake front and upper level MBR opens to deck. Bedroom three has a queen-size bed and is lakefront. Bedroom four has two sets of bunkbeds. Bedroom three and four share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Loft has an additional set of twin beds and two twin sleeper sofas. There is another half bath on the main level. Laundry facilities are located on lower level
WiFi throughout home. TV's in each bedroom, living room and family room. Complete kitchen with everything you can need. We are cooks and the kitchen reflects it. This home is made for multiple family or friends staying together with TV's in every bedroom. We have many repeat renters in our home and know you will not be disappointed.

Summary: My family has used VRBO extensively for the past couple of years to book our family vacations. This year’s vacation had special meaning as we were celebrating our son’s return from a 9-month deployment to Afghanistan. Jim and Lori’s beautiful lake front house fit the bill perfectly! Our group had 14 people, ranging in age from 9 to 78, and a Golden Retriever. The house accommodated everyone nicely, and the layout allowed everyone to have their own space. The house was clean and very well stocked with necessities. All the ladies in our family remarked about how well the kitchen was laid out, and had every cooking utensil you could think of. This saved us a bunch of money, because it allowed us to prepare almost every meal at the house. Having use of the boat and golf cart was icing on the cake. The entire rental process was handled in a professional manner. Once we inquired about the property, Lori responded to our request in a matter of hours. Lori also handled the payment process in a timely manner, emails to remind us of payment dues, deposit returned in less than a week. When we arrived we had the opportunity to meet Jim (the owner) and Mike (the caretaker). During our stay we encountered two minor issues, but Jim and Mike went above and beyond in making sure they were resolved in a timely manner and that everyone was happy. My wife and I have stayed all over the Blue Ridge area (Helen, Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Clayton, Hiawassee) and we both felt this was by far the best location. All of the attractions are pretty central to the home’s location. When we weren’t out checking out the local attractions the property offered plenty to keep everyone happy. How many vacation rentals offer you a boat? Not many, and a boat rental will set you back $300 a day, plus gas. Lake Nottely is a beautiful mountain lake with very little boat traffic. The water is very clear and surprisingly warm. The screened in porch was perfect for enjoying the cool mountain air while having a cup of coffee. You can’t go to the mountains and not have a camp fire. The fire pit area was perfect for a smores fix. I was very surprised at how much the ping pong table got used. Something about the game that brings out the competitive nature in people. For the players that couldn’t hang playing ping pong there was a trunk of family games.I would highly recommend this vacation rental to any family/group looking for a memorable vacation in the Georgia Mountain.
