Bring your family and come explore Hartwell, Georgia while experiencing lake living at its best! This lovely lakefront home offers four bedrooms that will sleeps 10 guests comfortably, making it the perfect destination for extended family vacations!
-There are two smart TVs in our home. Since we don't have cable, we encourage you to download any television apps you want to use while you are visiting. In addition to ESPN, the TV has Samsung TV already installed.
-Access to covered slip at the boat dock, with power. The water level at the end of the dock is 7-14 ft deep depending on the lake's water level.
-Wood burning stove located downstairs can be used in the winter months.
Very quiet cove and street, perfect for relaxing! The road ends at Milltown Campground, which opens to the public seasonally.
We use smart locks and generate a code specific to your stay for check in. You'll receive a welcome email with check in instructions and expectations the day before arrival! This code is only good during your stay and will expire at check out.
We do not allow more than eleven (11) guest total for overnight stays and no more than five (5) vehicles in the driveway.
Property is managed by Brittany with White Oak Property Management of Hartwell, GA. Host does not live on site. You will have full access to the entire house and covered dock slip!
What we supply:
-Bed linens, 12 bath towels, 12 washcloths, 6 hand towels, 5 beach towels, dish soap, hand soap, basic spices for cooking
-We provide a sample set of consumables, including body soap, shampoo, conditioner, 2 dishwashing pods, 2 trash bags, small laundry soap, a roll of paper towels, and 4 rolls of toilet paper. During your stay, these supplies won't be replenished, so be sure to pack extras!
-Firewood can be supplied for a small fee. Be sure to contact us prior to your stay to request and arrange payment
With lake views from each of the four bedrooms, there's no need to battle over the best room in the house! Bedroom 1 (upstairs) has a king-size bed with full bath ensuite. This bathroom also has access via the living area. Bedroom 2 (upstairs) has a king-size bed with full bath ensuite. Bedroom 3 (downstairs) has a queen-size bed with full bath ensuite. Bedroom 4 (downstairs) has 2 bunk beds: one being twin over twin the other being twin over full with an adjoining 1/2 bath/ laundry room.
This house has a fully furnished kitchen upstairs with all the amenities, plus some extras! Keurig single cup and drip pot, Brita filter pitcher inside refrigerator, crock pot, and portable ice maker just to name a few! Large dining table with seating for 10.
The living area upstairs opens to a beautiful sunroom, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunrise while watching the lake come to life. There's a fire pit out front with bench seating around it. These benches can be easily converted into picnic tables by simply tilting the back of the bench!
Downstairs there's a pool table, smart TV, board games, and puzzles for family fun! The laundry room is downstairs with full size washer and dryer. There's also a kitchenette with 2 mini refrigerators for easy access from the lake and patio.
A lower-level patio extends to a concrete path for a safe and easy walk to the private covered dock. We have 2 adult kayaks with paddles and 2 children’s kayaks with paddles that you're welcome to use during your stay. Life jackets of various sizes are hung in the laundry room. Bring your fishing pole and try your luck at catching a largemouth Bass or bring your boat and explore the lake. We have plenty to do inside or out; you're sure to create memories that will last a lifetime while staying at GP's Escape!
Located about 15 mins from downtown Hartwell, GA, a little over an hour to both Athens, GA and Clemson, SC, and about 25 mins from interstate 85.
