Lake Terrace Gem is a comfortable two bedroom bachwithstunning views, modern amenitiesand an outdoor thermal pool. The open plan kitchen features abreakfast bar, dishwasher and dining table. The spacious lounge has couches that look out floor-to-ceiling windows over the Great Lake Taupo. Step out on to the patio and enjoy thethermal pool and BBQ, or keep warm and entertainedinside over the winter months with a heat pump and television.
The apartment consists of one queen bed in the master and two single beds in the second room. The lounge has two single beds that you are welcome to use for extra guests.
A fantastic location on an elevated section allows for privacy and low noise, however it is just ashort stroll across the road to the lakefront and cafes. A 5 minute drive along Lake Terrace to the town centre, or a 3 km walk for those that want to make the most of Taupo's scenery!
This is a classic Kiwi bach as we know and love, it is a simple and affordable shared home which may have some level of personal belongings, made for families to enjoy and make lasting memories of Great Lake Taupo.
NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels)or use our hire service. If you wish to add the linen hire of $15 per person please select this option when booking or let us know in the comments section.
Strictly no parties, a few quiet drinks is fine but you must be respectful of the property and its neighbours. This is a family home in a quiet residential area, not suitable for large groups of adults. Disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated.

The thermal pool is not a spa and is left empty, it will need to be filled before use.

We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.
You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.
The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It's your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.
All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.
