Welcome to your home away from home! This newly renovated cottage is located on a private lake (no public access) with 85 feet of lakefront.
A picturesque view facing the clean, spring-fed, sandy bottom 40 acre lake can be seen from the upper and lower decks. A newly built fire pit in the backyard with string lights for ambiance is great for roasting s'mores on a warm summer evening.
Available for use at no additional charge is a propane grill, 2 kayaks, multiple floaties and lawn games located in the shed, and 1 stand-up paddle board. **boat pictured is NOT included in rental**
This perfectly appointed house has all the creature comforts needed for a comfortable stay including a stocked coffee bar, dishware/silverware for 12, cooking pots, pans, and utensils, blender, portable ice maker, and tea kettle in the kitchen. Linens cover the beds in the 4 available bedrooms, and hand/face/bath towels are included in the 2 full bathrooms.
There are also beach towels available for use as well as a laundry room stocked with detergent and laundry sheets.
On a rainy day or just for some family fun, there are card/board games located in the living room. If you want to relax and watch TV there are 3 smart TVs in the house where you can log in to any streaming service you have available to you.

Summary: My husband and I took a trip out to Michigan so I could see my fathers side of the family once I graduated. The home came with a notebook with rules and nearby places to visit as well as grocery stores nearby. The host was always quick to respond which was nice. I will say if you have a giant truck you are renting getting in at the garage will be hard. We opted to park on the upper level (not up the wooden stairs) since we did get a truck. Overall we enjoyed our experience. We slept in the basement master which was nice and cool (my husband runs hot). They have alot of bedrooms to choose from. They also have smart tvs / devices as well so don't worry about bringing yours from home either like we did for some down time lol.
